Current News

There have been a lot of wonderful things happening lately. Here are the highlights...
Maya and Sahara had their 4th birthday party this past weekend. We had so much fun !!
Pinata !

Here's Maya picking up the pinata booty.

Does Maya look excited about her giant birthday cupcake.

Here's Sahara making her birthday wish.

Dodge ball !

Do these girls look happy or what?

Cousin Jad and his parents Scott and Merna helped us celebrate.

Nader's oldest friend in the world, Martin and Yvonne.

Gigi being her normal beautiful self with Uncle Saba.

We all had such a great time at the birthday party. That night Maya and Sahara's 4 cousins stayed for a sleep over party. They were in heaven.

Here's a shot that warms my heart. My two guys snuggled up.

Here's Maya discovering static electricity.

Our relatives from Maui came over for a special visit following their son's wedding in Vegas. From Left: Uncle Leslie, my dad, me, Kingston Auntie Lani, Nader, Maya & Sahara.

My dear friend from Hawaii also visited. This is the first meeting between Nos and Kingston.

Maya has a doll that she absolutely loves that she calls Kingston Paul Khoury. Nader and I dislike this doll because it looks crazy. It's eyes are broken and Nader often calls it Chucky. (remember the movie of the possessed doll). Maya loves it and won't part with it, even though we have offered many substitution dolls. She once found her doll in the trash and threw a fit. I guess we are stuck with Chucky. Here's a picture of Kingston with Chucky.

The whole family went to Vegas to celebrate my Cousin Kalen's wedding. It was a rare occasion where my entire immediate family was together. It was very cool hanging out with family and my dear friend Lahela that lives out there. The Belagio had an amazing flower exhibit that my girls went crazy over.

My spring chick.

Look at the giant bugs. That frog to Sahara's left is covered with green flowers.

Sahara is my flower girl. She loves flowers so much she is often asking daddy to turn the car around so that she can go back and pick some flowers.

My two handsome men. This was Kingston's first time in Vegas !

Giant flower garden.

Wow !

So there are the highlights of late. So many smiles and good times. I love it !

Snap shots

I have been holding out on some really cute pictures of my cute babes. So here are a few snap shots.
Rare family shot at the Balboa Park botanical garden. Usually I'm the one taking the photos, so you hardly ever see me. That little thing strapped to me is Kingston.

Kingston and his deranged sister, Maya. Nader and I are on 24/7 guard duty for Kingston to ensure his sisters don't run off and love on him to death.

Baby in the sunlight.

Proud mama.

Here's what happens when the girls get their hands on Kingston. He is sitting in a baby doll stroller.

And here's our poor son held captive by his two sisters who put him in their baby doll crib. All I can think is that one day Kingston is going to be big enough to kick their asses and he will get even with them.

Monkey.

Monkey hugging a deer.

Cherub Kingston sleeping in a cloud of blankets.

Is there anything more adorable than a sleeping baby.

Today is Maya and Sahara's 4th birthday. It's hard to believe that they are growing up so fast. Although I often find myself wishing they were in preschool, I'm so blessed to be their mom. They are miracle babies and I am reminded of how much they were wanted on their birthday.
